Thousands of school-aged going children have received books, school bags and other writing materials free of charge from Yobe’s prominent development advocate and governorship aspirant, Kashim Musa Tumsah MFR.
The gesture which cuts across selected schools throughout the 17 local government areas of the state is aimed at boosting standard of education at the foundation level.
Five public primary schools were selected from each of the 17 local government areas bringing the total to 85 schools had their pupils impacted under the intervention. 
According to KMT, the gesture will not only boost education as the beneficiaries happily and proudly display their new customised bags home but will reduce some of the ever increasing burdens and responsibilities many parents faced.
The governorship aspirant who has been intervening in various walks of life for decades throughout the state, also during this year’s Ramadan fast provided sumptuous and well balanced meals to Muslim faithful through selected centres and mobile feeding services from day one to the 30th. 
It is estimated that over 500,000 persons including women, children, less privileged persons, sangaya Qur’anic schools and households cutting across the three Senatorial zones of the state.
Similarly, Tumsah paid full 2026 JAMB examination registration fees for over 500 students drawn from the 178 wards of the 17 local government areas in the state. 
The JAMB examination sponsorship which has increased Yobe State students participation and results is usually followed by sponsored tutorials by relevant teachers who prepare the benefiting students for the examination.
A cross section of parents including those whose children missed the sponsorship opportunity have commended KMT for the initiative prompting their commitment to massively vote for KMT in particular and APC in general in the 2027 general elections in the state.
