The Senator elect for Zamfara West, former Governor Abdulaziz Abubakar Yari has charged constituents in the zone to braze up and vote massively in the upcoming governorship and H/Assembly elections in the state.
The Senator elect made the clarion call when executive members of Bakura Development Forum visited him at his residence in T/Mafara to congratulate him for his emergence as the Senator for Zamfara West in the last Saturdays election.
Yari commended electorate in Bakura local government area for posting 30,000 bites in the last election, expressing hope that the tally shall hit 70,000 votes or more In the forthcoming governorship and House of Assembly elections coming up on 11th March, 2023.
Yari added that self sacrifice perseverance are the only factors to bear in the bid to secure victory in the coming elections.
The Senator elect pledged to do whatever is practicable to seeing that people of Zamfara West are better represented in the National Assembly.
He donated a brand new vehicle and a sum of 3 million Naira to visiting Bakura Development Forum for smooth conduct of its affairs.
Earlier, the chairman if the forum , Alh. Mustapha Rabiu Bajura who expressed delight over the victory of the Senator elect, said they were at his residence to congratulate for his victory at the polls.
Mustapha thanked the Senator elect for the donation and wished him fruitful representation of the zone in the National Assembly.
