The ADC Candidate for Anka and Talata Mafara Federal Constituency, Amb. Abdulrahman Yahaya, has inaugurated the Campaign Committee for Anka Local Government ahead of the 2027 general elections.
In a statement issued on Monday, August 18, 2026, Amb. Yahaya described the constitution of the team as “a significant milestone” in his journey toward delivering inclusive, democratic and people-oriented representation.
He said the committee is made up of seasoned professionals, grassroots mobilizers, youth leaders, women advocates, and respected stakeholders drawn from across Anka Local Government.
According to him, the composition reflects his commitment to competence, integrity, inclusiveness, and broad-based participation.
“The members were carefully selected based on proven capacity, dedication to service, and alignment with my vision for sustainable development, security, and prosperity for our people,” he stated.
Amb. Yahaya added that the Campaign Team will coordinate all campaign activities, engage communities, implement his policy positions, and ensure his message of hope, unity and progress reaches every part of the local government.
He urged supporters, ADC party faithful, and well-meaning citizens of Anka to rally behind the team to ensure victory at the polls at all levels.
The statement listed the key officials as: Hon. Abdulbasir Muhammad Anka as Director General; Malam Junaidu Muhammad Anka a.k.a Tabarakallahu as Secretary; Hon. Dan Magaji Gima as Treasurer; Hajiya Lauratu Musa Anka as Women Leader; and Hon. Tanimu Yusuf Jirgi Anka as Digital Director, among others.
“Together, we will build the future we desire,” Amb. Yahaya concluded.
