Member of the House of assembly representing Talata Mafara North, Honourable Shamsuddeen Hassan Bosco has offered scholarships to 100 Students of the area to study health related courses at ASB collage.
The gesture is part of the Legislator’s efforts at empowering his Constituents, recall as he also presented cash and other empowerment items to selected people drawn from his Constituency spending over N100 million Naira last month.
Honourable Shamsudden while flagging off the distribution of offer of admission to the beneficiaries in Talata Mafara, said that the gesture was to improve on youths empowerment especially in the critical health sector.
According to him, the "main objective of the scholarship is to make sure youths are engaged in community building and society at large""The gesture is aimed at fostering development and self-reliance among the youth, equipping them with the public health knowledge necessary to contribute meaningfully to their community and the state at large" He emphasize that by "investing in your health education I am not only shaping your future but also investing in the future of the community"
Speaking earlier, Mr Murtala Ibrahim Murcy, who coordinated the event, said is a "groundbreaking display of benevolence, Hon. Shamsuddeen has pioneered an unprecedented initiative, unparalleled in the history of the state's legislative arm since 1999"He further explained "by investing in the education and development of the youth, he has demonstrated a profound commitment to human capital development, which is the bedrock of sustainable economic growth and societal progress"In his closing remark, the generous lawmaker, Hon. Shamsuddeen, offered a sincere prayer for the scholarship beneficiaries, expressing his hope that they would demonstrate their gratitude by diligently attending school and achieving academic excellence.

Hon. Shamsuddeen has made a commitment to the scholarship beneficiaries, promising that the top 20 students who excel in their various fields of study will be recognized and rewarded.
