The Zamfara State chapter of Sport Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) has inaugurated a sevien man Local Oganising Committee to conduct a hitch free GUSAU/AHLAN Media Cup competition in the state.
A statement by the association secretary in the state, Daniel H Dogon Yaro said the competition was organized in commemoration of the incumbent President of Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, Ibrahim Musa Gusau and a Board Member, Rabiu Sharif AHLAN.
Those inaugurated are,
- Dahiru Samaila Mafara, Chairman Aminu Abubakar Mayanhi , Co – Chairman
- Adeyeni K Salaudeen member
- Representive from FA, Member
- Representative from Zamfara Sport council, Member
- Husainni Gambo, Member
- Abubakar Tsalha Almajir, Secretary
According to the chairman of the state chapter, Murtala Rabiu Dabbakal the committee was mandated to organize a hitch free competition and ensure all the relevant stakeholders of the association are adequately inform.
Rabiu further stated that, activities will commence from Thursday, 25th May, 2023 with groupings in which all heads of media organizations are expected to grace be around at the NUJ Press Center by 11am prompt.
