Whenever it is a political season, all hands must be on deck to assiduously work towards predetermined set objectives of clinching mantle of leadership under various political parties.
Individuals, political groups, clubs, association, NGOs and even organizations both corporate and public have their peculiar roles to play.
In Zamfara state, politics is at its bream as campaign rallies had kicked off at local government level across the state.
Former Zamfara state governor, Dr. Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar is the state Gubernatorial Campaign Council chairman and is surrounded by many of his loyalists, supporters, well wishers and APC faithfuls to enable him steer well the campaign train for the success of the second term bid of His Excellency the subsisting state governor, Dr Bello Muhammad Matawallen Maradun.
A Zamfara based politically aligned independent group popularly known as “G14” has been giving its utmost contributions to the state Gubernatorial Campaign council for the success of the state ruling APC in the nearby elections.
“G14” is founded by a very good Samaritan and one of the APC’s lion hearts in the state, Alh. Sani Musa aka Mercury.
Mercury created the group in absolute support of all APC activities and campaign rallies in the state.
Apart from the group’s participation in all APC activities, programs and events, it also offers social responsibility during all APC rallies.
The group donates two trucks fully loaded with pure drinking water during APC political rally in each local government area for the comfort of APC supporters.
So far, the state Gubernatorial campaign council had Flagg off campaign rallies in six, out of the 14 local government areas, and during each local government campaign rally, G14 has provided the gathering with two trucks load of hygienic packaged drinking water.
In appreciation of its contributions to the APC movement, the Director General of the state Gubernatorial campaign, Senator Tijjani Yahaya Kaura, acknowledged the efforts of the group and commended it for a job well done.
Not only the DG of the gubernatorial campaign, other APC stakeholders and supporters from across the state are acknowledging the efforts of the group, describing the founder, Alh. Sani Musa aka Mercury as very patriotic and a role model for APC.
