Youth are widely considered as the veins of the society, crucial elements to the elders and they are good agents in fast tracking development.
Youth are indispensable in all human endeavours as their individual and collective contributions to nation building can not be underestimated.
Politics world over can not do without the youth as they take the frontiers of political activities at grassroot, state, national levels or internationally.
It was on this premise that the youth in Zamfara resolved to bond together to play their part in the political scenes of the state.
The youth in the state launched and demonstrated their support to state ruling APC and the leadership of the state Governor, Dr. Bello Muhammad, MON, Matawallen Maradun, Danmadamin Mafara, Shattiman Daular Usumaniyya and Barden Kasar Hausa by carrying out a one million youth solidary rally.
The rally was the brain child of one of the youth and the state Commissioner of Commerce, Hon.Yazeed Shehu Danfulani .
The Commissioner who double as Director of the Directorate of Youth Mobilization of 2023 Gubernatorial Campaign Council, GCC in Zamfara state under whose auspices the rally was organized, a vibrant youth advocate, led the one million youth rally in support of the candidature of the state Governor, Dr. Bello Muhammad Matawalle for the success of his 2023 second term bid.
The rally was successfully conducted and youth from all walks of life from across the state participated which symbolizes the prospect of the APC in the next year’s general elections in the state.
Other youth who immensely contributed and participated in the rally and worthy of commendation include the state Commissioner of Finance, Alh. Sufiyanu Bashir Yaguda, Executive Secretary of Zamfara Health Contributory Management Agency, Dr. Abdulkadir Aliyu Shinkafi, MD/ CEO Zamfara Property and Development Company Limited, Alhaji Anas Hamisu Lawal, various APC support groups, youth associations and several women groups who aligned their support as payback for the good things done to thier Children.
The rest include all political appointees, commissioners, SAs, DGs, local government Sole Administrators and their councilors as well as Senior Special Assistance.
Kudos to Hon Yazeed Shehu Danfulani for the wise decision and the resilience volunteered for the success of the rally and by extension, the success of Governor Bello Muhammad Matawalle.
