Parents and guardians have been called upon to give their children equal rights to education for the overall development of the society irrespective of their gender .
The call was made by an educationalist and coordinator of Sa’adatu Musa Total Child Academy, SMTCA Talata Mafara, Hajiya Shafa’atu Musa Mafara during the graduation ceremony of 28 pupils of the school.
Hajiya Shafa’atu Musa expressed concern on how some parents prioritize the education of their male wards over their females, stressing that equal opportunities should be accorded to every child.
According to the her, SMTCA has set a standard towards achieving quality education as the school doesn’t accept more than thirty students far class.
” We decided to make the sacrifice of maintaining the standard in our efforts to ensuring full realization of quality education to our students” She added
Pupils of the school have demonstrated various activities showcasing their talents in different aspects of learning such as drama, debates, tutorials and sports.
The school management has similarly prested various awards to some selected students and teachers , among whom is the
School headteacher, Malam Saminu Sama’ila.
