The All Progressives Congress, APC Candidates has emerges winner of all the Local Government chairmanship position in Kebbi-state.
This was contain in a press release sign by the Chairman, Kebbi-state Independent Electoral Commission (KESIEC) Alh Aliyu Muhammad Mera and made available to news men on monday, the 7th of February 2022 in Birnin-Kebbi.
Mera announce that all Progressive Congress (APC) has won all the Local Governments chairmanship position and all the 225 counsellors across the state.
“It could be recalled that, Eighteen Political Parties indicated interest to participate in the Election. However, seventeen participated actively” He added.
Mera also attributed the success recorded in the just concluded Saturday 5th February 2022 Election to enermous contribution of all the stake-holders such as the Media, Securities, Civil Society Organizations and also the Political Parties.
“The commission wishes to extend its appreciation to the state Government for ensuring that, this important tier of Government is rule by democratically elected council” Mera added.
