The notorious Bandits leader terrorizing Bakura, Talata, Maradun, Rabah in Sokoto state and Zamfara- Sokoto high way was said to have been arrested Saturday carrying over 200 AK-47.
According to an online Media report ‘Thunder Blowers’ who spoke with a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Zamfara state, Sani Abdullahi Wamban Shinkafi in an exclusive interview confirmed the arrest.
According to Wamban Shinkafi the bandit leader who is less than 30 years of age, has confessed to be supplying weapons from the Republic of Niger and used them in his deadly operations.
He explained that, the bandit leader has been terrorizing the people along the Sokoto-Mafara highway and also part of Rabah and Maradun local government area of Zamfara state.
Wambai who expressed concern with the way people are trying to politicize the security challenges faced by the state said unless people played their role in supporting the effort of the Governor the security challenge may not be well addressed.
“The security challenges faced by Zamfara state is a collective concern of all-inclusive of Ulama (Islamic School teachers), politicians including those in the PDP, APC, APGA and even those working in Thunder Blowers” Wambai added
