The City club, a replica of an English Football team of England have yesterday beat Flamingo Football Club 1-0 at a final held in Talata Mafara stadium.
Manchester City Football club of Talata Mafara have became the winner of A A Yari solidarity Football competition.
The competition organized by the chairman and team Manager of SHATTIMA UNITED FC, Talata Mafara, Sule Coach and Shehu Manshek respectively in honor of the Former Zamfara state Governor and Chairmanship aspirant for the upcoming APC national chairmanship election, Hon. Dr. Abdul’aziz Yari Abubakar was contested by 10 Football teams.
According to the organizers, the aim of the competition is to poster unity among players from various football teams and also to intimate the football fans about the candidature of Alhaji Abdul’aziz Yari Abubakar to the position of APC national chairman.
Speaking further, the organizers said plans are on ground for a Zonal and national football competition in respect of Yari candidature for APC national chairmanship position.
