The newly elected Secretary for Zone A of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Comrade Abdulrazak Bello Kaura has charged members of the union to consider unity and welfare their top priority.

Speaking as the Special Guest during the inauguration of new executives (EXCO) of Legacy Newspaper Chapel, Zamfara state, Comrade Abdulrazak Bello said, no meaningful development would be achieved without unity, stressing that members must be well prepared to meet up with global challenge of modern journalism.
Comrade Abdulrazak said members must eschew high esteem to safeguard the image of the union, and should accordingly respect their leaders.
The new zonal secretary commended the Legacy Newspaper Chapel credentials committee for organizing free, fair and acceptable election, which according to him, was one among the most acceptable elections held by Zamfara state NUJ council.
” I have been following with keen interest over time, how the Legacy Newspaper Chapel has been conducting its affairs which is in line with the transformation agenda of the incumbent National chairman of the Union, Mr Chris Isiguzu.
Early, acting chairman of Zamfara state NUJ council, Comrade Bello Boko congratulated the newly elected Zonal Secretary, Comrade Abdulrazak Bello Kaura over his recent victory at the NUJ National delegates conference held early this month.
He further assured all necessary support and cooperation required for the overall development of the NUJ in all ramifications.
Those elected are Surajo Muhammed as chairman of the chapel, Shehu Muhammed, Secretary, Jamilu Isah, Treasurer, Hajara Abdullahi, Financial Secretary, Bilyaminu Mohammed, Vice Chairman, Ibrahim Mohammed, Auditor and Nasiru Albani as Assistant Secretary.
Among other important dignitaries present at the inauguration include, Ibrahim Gada, Secretary of the Correspondents Chapel and Shuaibu Dillaliya, vice Chairman of Correspondents Chapel and Alhaji Rufai UB Gusau, Chairman, Yazeed Shehu Danfulani Foundation.
