12 PASSENGERS INVOLVED IN FATAL MOTOR ACCIDENT DIED IN ZAMFARA — FRSC
A catastrophic road traffic accident claimed the lives of 12 travelers in Zamfara at Magazu village of Tsafe local government area, along Tsafe - Funtua road. The Federal Road Safety Corps Tsafe Unit Commander, Chief Route Commander, CRC, Abubakar Muhd Sadik told journalists that the accident involved a Toyota Bus and a lorry (Canter) carrying 25 passengers. He stated that the tragedy was caused by over speeding and incorrect overthinking, which resulted in a head-on collision that killed 12 passengers, including two children, and injured 17 others. CRC Abubakar therefore urged motorists to drive cautiously, avoid over speeding, and reckless driving for safe travel.
