No fewer than 98 Badminton clubs nationwide are currently competing at the ongoing Kauran Gwandu Badminton Championship 2025 in Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi state.
Yesterday Tuesday October 28, 2025 was the opening ceremony which was attended by the state Deputy Governor, Alhaji Umar Abubakar Tafida and His Royal Highness, Mai – Bade the Emir of Gashuwa , Alhaji Abubakar Ibn Umar Suleiman alongside commissioners from the Kebbi state Government.
The Deputy Governor and chairman Local Organizing Committee as well as officials from ABCIN are all present during the opening ceremony.
The main event starts with men single and under 17 doubles and are currently playing quarter finals.
The statistics of the game as at Wednesday morning, October 29, 2025 about 200 players are assembled at the Venue of the competition playing different categories of the competition.
