A committee has been established by the Nigeria Union of Journalists' Legacy newspaper Chapel to hold new elections for the chapter.

Comrade Bilyaminu Mohammed, the chairman of the chapel, stated during its Congress meeting, which was held in the editorial conference room of the Legacy, that the committee's formation was required after their term ended.

He emphasized that the election would take place in a month and tasked the three-member committee to carryout their duties in a fair and just manner.

Ibrahim Rabiu served as the committee's chairman, Aliyu Buhari, the former chairman of the chapel as its secretary, and Abdulaziz Isah as a member.
