The chairman of Kebbi State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Comrade Hamza Galadima Zuru, is dead.
A statement issued by Secretary, zone A, Abduralzak Bello Kaura said, Zuru died at the Federal Medical Center, (FMC) Birnin Kebbi after battling a prolonged illness.
The statement further stated that Zuru contributed greatly to the growth and development of journalism in Kebbi State and the nation at large.
