Former Governor of Zamfara state and Senator representing Zamfara West Senatorial District Alhaji Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar has commences distribution of cows to ten thousand orphans across Zamfara state.
Secretary of the committee, Liman Sanusi Liman Dan Alhaji made the disclosure in Gusau while purchasing cows at Kara market.
He said each Emirates in Zamfara will benefit with 3 cows for 500 selected beneficiaries, while Gusau with 1000 orphans will benefit with six cows.
According to Liman Sanusi, a total of 66 cows was approved for the orphans across 19 Emirates of the state.
