A member of House of Representatives, representing Bungudu/Maru Federal Constituency in Zamfara state, Hon. Abdulmalik Zubairu has sponsored a Special Medical Outreach to treat Ear, Nose and Throat E.N.T cases in his Constituency.
The program according to the Technical Assistant Strategy, Media and Communications of the lawmaker, Aminu Lawal Bungudu was sponsored in collaboration with the consulting firm “SUBEEY AUDIOLOGY CLINIC” Fadama Plaza Gusau.
The E.N.T outreach conducted in both Bungudu and Maru LGAs from Tuesday 5th to Wednesday 6th March 2024, involved diagnosis, treatment, distribution of drugs, referrals and provision of hearing-aid facilities
The idea to initiate the programme was to relieve households of expenses related to medical cases at the period when people find it difficult to shoulder their personal and family responsibilities.
The statement of the Media Technical Assistant, the exercise has within two days of its commencement covered about 507 patients drawn from Bungudu and Maru Local Governments.
dfknews earlier report that the Maru/Bungudu lawmaker in collaboration with the National Headquarters of Islamic Medical Association of Nigeria IMAN sponsored a free medical outreach of 1600 patients suffering from different ailments including surgical cases.
The lawmaker have similarly in January this year sponsored over 200 of his constituents to various tertiary institutions across the country.
