Former Governor of Sokoto State and Senator representing Sokoto Central, Sen. Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, Sarkin Yamman Sokoto, has authorized the appointment of Alhaji Hayatu Jibo Dalhat, a well-known former Voice of Nigeria staff, as acting General Manager of Alu Yagode FM, a Sokoto State radio station.

For more than a decade, the former VON Correspondent has worked with other important media organizations in the country, including Point newspaper and Global Magazine International.

Alhaji Almustapha Alkali, Senator Wamakko’s Permanent Secretary, stated in a written message that Hayatu Jibo Dalhat’s appointment was a directive from His Excellency, Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, in light of his significant contribution to the development of the FM radio station.
