‘I will personally write to Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar for his contributions to the development of Zamfara State”
Above is the verbal statement of the current Governor of Zamfara State, Dauda Lawal, commending former Governor of Zamfara State who is now the Senator representing Zamfara West, Distinguished Senator Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar,( Shattiman Zamfara)
Governor Dauda Lawal made his mind spelt out about and on the personality of Abdulaziz Yari when he paid working visit to the offices of State Chief Judge and that of State Grand Khadi yesterday, Monday.
Dauda wholeheartedly commended Senator Yari and raised him high for his ever indelible solid development projects he left behind as governor of Zamfara.
In his introductory remarks during the visit, Dauda Lawal said the purpose of the visit was to get first hand information and technical know-how applicable to fine tune Zamfara State judicial system and general condition of courts in the state.
However, he opened up “Recently, I was in Talata Mafara (the home base of the Senator)’ and I was elated by the state of the art a “Court complex” constructed for the area by Abdulaziz Yari.
Governor Dauda Lawal further noted that Senator Yari deserves not only commendation, but must be referred as a role model.
He deduced that he considers A A Yari as the pride of Zamfara State, calling on any determined and well meaning citizens of Zamfara State to graciously emulate the Senator.
Governor Dauda Lawal who holds the traditional title of “Gamjin Gusau”, further stated that he wishes to work with or join hands together with progressive and impeccable such as Senator Yari in his resolve to transform the state.
In what seamlessly looked like a formal invitation, Dauda Lawal notified “I’m ready to invite or to meet any person, of Zamfara origin or otherwise, like Abdulaziz Yari who has the progress of Zamfara state at heart”
At this juncture, where are those making noise. “The ears and eyes have served it”
By implication, however, the statements of Governor Dauda Lawal was not just a mark of honor on A A Yari, but a very transparent indication that the two giants are at the verge on the same line of direction towards the paths of development of Zamfara State.
