Zamfara West Senatorial Candidate under the platform of the New Nigeria People’s Party, NNPP, Abdulkarim Adamu has decamped to the All Progressives Congress, APC, alongside with the three House of Representatives candidates of the party for Anka – Talata , Hon. Mustapha Suleiman Na Allah, Gummi – Bukkuyum, Hon. Sanusi Muhd Gummi and Bakura Maradun federal constituency, Hon. Kasimu MB Faru.
The decampees were presented to the chairman of the state Gubernatorial Campaign Council, former governor Dr. Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar at his Talata Mafara residence by the state APC Deputy chairman, Alhaji Hassan Marafa Damri
Commenting while receiving the defectors, Dr. Abdulaziz Yari expressed delight for the defection, saying it was an honor done to him.
He assured the decampees of equal treatment being given to members of the APC.
In their separate speeches, Abdulkarim Adamu and his co decampees pledged to work towards the overall success of the APC and its candidates in the state.
Among the important personalities who witnessed the occasion include, a former APC State chairman and leader of A A Yari political movement, Hon. Lawal M. Liman and Director contact and Mobilization sub – committee, Directorate of Gubernotorial Campaign Council, Hon. Musa Zubairu, former APC Youth leader, Alhaji Bilya Nagwaggo and Special Assistance to governor Yari on Media, Hon. Dahiru Samaila Mafara.
