The Zamfara state Governor, Alh. (Dr.) Bello Muhammad has appointed Alh .Muktar Abubakar Yari (Kayayen Mafara) as Senior District Head.
As noted in an official document with reference DCA/CA/GEN/TRD/01/VOL.1 dated 12/10/2022 duly signed and made public by the Special Adviser to the state governor on Chieftaincy Affairs, Alh Yusuf Abubakar Zugu, the appointment is wth immediate effect.
Before elevation to his current status, Alh. Muktar Abubakar Yari was a District Head in Talata Mafara Emirate.
The new Senior District Head, Alhaji Muktar Abubakar Yari was also the younger brother to the immediate past governor of the state, Alhaji Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar.
