The newly elected President of the Nigerian Football Federation, NFF, Alh. Ibrahim Musa Gusau, has vowed to cleanse the Nigeria’s football industry, correct abnormalities in the system and promote its image to make the sector more positively functional.
The NFF President made the pledge while hosting members of Zamfara State Referees Standing Committee in Gusau, his home state capital.
Alh Ibrahim Musa said as part of his marshal plans to move NFF to the next level, he will sit with stakeholders within the industry .
He said the motive behind meeting with the stakeholders is to brainstorm on the burning issues affecting football, and to chart a new cause on how best to manage the sector for capacity building, efficiency and standardization .
Gusau also assured to assiduously work towards obliging to the interests, plights and welfare of operators in the sector,
He however warns against wrong doings, noting that it would not be taken lightly with bad elements as appropriate disciplinary measures must work against perpetrators.
Alh. Ibrahim Musa Gusau expressed appreciation to all those who directly or indirectly contributed towards his election which culminated into victory which gave him the mandate to become NFF President
He solicited for prayers for him to succeed in his new capacity which he described as very challenging.
