The Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Zamfara state council has appointed its zone ‘ A’ secretary, Comrade Abdulrazak Bello Kaura as chairman of the Union’ s subcommittee for contact and mobilization for the 2022 “ZAKARA PROGRAMME”

The “ZAKARA PROGRAMME” a Radio/TV Phone in live programme was a traditional activity of the union at any turn around of electioneering campaign and general elections.

The program was designed for all political parties and all candidates aspiring for various elective positions at the state and national levels.

Chairman of the council, Comrade Ibrahim Musa Maizare said during the inauguration of the committee Wednesday at the NUJ Press Centre Gusau that, the programme will give an ample opportunity for the political parties candidates to communicate to citizens of Zamfara, especially voters about their parties manifestos as well as wishes and aspirations of candidates from the respective political parties.

Other members of the Committee include, Usman Abdullahi Biyabiki an Ex-officio was appointed to be co- chairman of the committee, Umar Muhammad from Gamji TV Chapel, Bashir Abashiya from Information chapel, Zara’u Musa of NTA Chapel, Sani Abdullahi Dan’isa from Radio Chapel, while Dahiru Samaila Mafara was appointed to serve as committee secretary.
