A fire inferno has on Friday razed down a leading primary school in Talata Mafara, Zamfara state, Sa’adatu Musa Total Child Academy
According to the Proprietor of the school, Dr. Rabi Musa said the cause of the fire incident was yet to be ascertain as it was reported that it occurred about 12:30 PM when the school had closed for the day.
“The cause of the fire is not known. It was on Friday January 28 around 12:30 which was after the normal school hours, and the school already had successfully closed , only Allah SWT knows how” Dr. Rabi said
The outbreak had consumed nine classes, three offices and three latrines among other structures of the school affected.
One of the parent of the school’s pupils has in reaction to the incident, expressed shock, describing it as a great set back to the educational development of their children and that of the immediate community.
The concerned parent who prefers anonymity, called on government and wealthy individuals to as a matter of urgency, assist the school management in the interest of education development of the area.
