. . EXPART SUGGEST NEW ACRONYM FOR YARI
Said YARI could be, ‘You Are Right (for APC, for Nigeria, for good).’
Dr. Mikail Ibrahim Barau, an educationalist, human resource manager and international development partner as well as political analyst made the suggestion in his article titled: YARI’S SOCIO-POLITICAL HAT TRICK IN LESS THAN A WEEK were he analyzed one week performance of former Governor of Zamfara state, Alhaji Abdul’aziz Yari Abubakar SHATTIMAN ZAMFARA
Below are his words:

“From Thursday, 16th December, 2021 to Monday 20th December, 2021, Former Governor Yari Performed three important engagements that show him as a unique socio-political trailblazer. I present them in reverse order:
I just realised that the name YARI could be an acronym for You Are Right (for APC, for Nigeria, for good).”
- The presentation of 500 bags of rice and 15 cows to Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Zamfara State Chapter as his contribution for Christmas occasion. This is a unique gesture that extends the much needed message of love and peace that leaders should be seen to exemplify and amplify.
- The wedding of his two nieces (we say daughters inline with the tradition) in Talata Mafara on Saturday where he made the town like just another market day. Mafara and Zamfara have not seen such a gathering in recent times. A leading opposing figure was said to have consoled himself and his followers by saying that “if crowd makes politics, Kwankwaso would have won election in Kano”. Our simple answer is that Yari is a unique model whose interpretation in the light of another could be a grievous mistake.
- The 2nd Stakeholder Session of APC Media Corps in Abuja which was obviously a grandstanding from the crowd he created within and outside the venue as well as the message he passed. Yari supporters and their bands made the moment eventful and unmistakable. His remarks about the way forward for APC that speaks to the premium place of unity through reconciliation, individual and institutional reward and the synergy between the party and national leadership was a great demonstration of his stint as the longest Chair of the Nigerian Governors’ Forum.
